How long have you been a paid up member with KSFA?

I am 45 years old and has been with KSFA since the very first day that is 10years ago and in the committee since then, at the moment I am Vice President. 

Any Personal Records? Biggest fish caught?

Biggest fish caught was a 4.3kgs mullet from Valletta on a night in October. 

How do you prepare yourself prior to an event/ competition? Bait, rigs?

A good thing a match comes along since it is about the only time I organize my tackle box . I also prepare some paternoster rigs and pole rigs. Prepare some attractive or for humans repulsive ground bait and take care of ordering my bait and preparing others, besides making a strategy of the fishing which always goes haywire.

Your favorite competition location? Why? 

I would say Gozo and Pieta, since Gozo is very good for fishing and I have always done well in Gozo, and Pieta ,well I like fishing there. 

Your favorite “fun fishing” location?

Undoubtly Birzebbugia is the my favourite "fun fishing" location. 

Your favorite fish? Why?

Mullet I love the fish for its fighting spirit and challenge.

 Your favorite fishing method?

Definitley float fishing especially for mullet. 

Favorite fishing equipment? Rods, hooks, monofilament, floats etc….?

Rods I would say Trabucco and Grauville, hooks mustad, monofilament ayaka and Teklon, floats trabucco.

Your occupation when not fishing?

I work with Air Malta as a flight Purser.

Other interests or hobbies?  

I like using my computer and pushing it to the limit besides playing a good game or two and read a lot. 

What are your thoughts on the future of sport fishing in Malta?  

I think sports fishing has a bright future but all clubs in Malta need to work closer together with our Federation and leave individual interests behind.

Describe your favorite fish story.......................

Well I would say it was when I was night fishing at B`Bugia a long time ago and I landed a left foot slipper and my fishing buddy laughed his head off and teased me to no end of course only till he landed the right foot one and thought it was a fish.
